welcome to GNR Racing. we are the husband/wife team of gina and ray porter. gina being the support manager keeping track of nutrition, morale, race strategy and all the important stuff while i just get on the bike and go till she tells me to stop or something breaks.....bike or rider. we have been lucky to travel around several states and even canada doing endurance races and meeting some great folks out there. hanging out with people at 3 in the morning while your freezing and waiting for your rider to come back around can be quite an experience. last summer we went to the World Solo 24 hour race in Canmore CN and had a great time. some of the best looking country in the world and racing with world class riders can be a humbling experience. this year we are gearing up for a try at the Tour Divide Race from Banff Canada to the New Mexico/ Mexico border. 2770 miles of fun? i'll be using a Spot locating/tracking device so friends and family can watch my progress or lack thereof online. gina has a blog http://gnrporter.blogspot.com/ that you can check out race results and updates on the TDR attempt.
